The Cascade 600 Fully Submersible Internal Filter, presented by Penn-Plax, is designed to deliver crystal clear water throughout your aquarium. This filter cycles water at 175 Gallons per Hour (GPH) for tanks up to 50 Gallons in size, making it suitable for both Freshwater and Saltwater aquariums, as well as a variety of Terrarium setups.

The adjustable flow switch on the Cascade 600 allows you to increase or decrease the water flow at will, which can be extremely helpful during feeding times or when needed. The directional flow nozzles provide additional tank customization and convenience, while the filter's four suction cups enable both vertical and horizontal mounting positions.

The Cascade 600 utilizes two filter media chambers and comes equipped with a refillable Carbon Cartridge and a Bio-Sponge. This combination not only optimizes the colonization of anaerobic bacteria but also traps floating particulate matter, removes harmful chemicals and toxins, clears up discolorations, and reduces foul odors from your aquarium's water.

Another key feature of the Cascade 600 is its Venturi Aeration system, which provides your tank with filtered, oxygenated water. This feature eliminates the need for a separate air pump, as the filter combines both functions. Simply connect the Air Tube and Air Muffler to the Flow Nozzle, and follow the included instructions. It is important to fully submerge and fill the filter with water before turning it on.

In addition to the two Flow Nozzles and the Venturi Aeration, the Cascade 600 includes a Spray Bar that evenly distributes the filtered water over the surface of your aquarium, further enhancing the water circulation and oxygenation.
