It provides Biological, Chemical, and Physical Filtration through a unique process. As air is pushed through the Air Stones and rises through the Lift Tubes, water is gently suctioned through the gravel and filter plates, allowing both air and water to pass through the Filt-a-Carb Activated Carbon Cartridges. This process facilitates the collection and colonization of anaerobic bacteria within the gravel and filter plates.

In addition to its filtration capabilities, the Clear-Free Premium Under Gravel Filter also aerates your tank. The air-driven system, powered by the Air Stones and Air Pump (not included), simultaneously filters and aerates your aquarium, effectively combining a filter and bubbler into a single, efficient system.

The Clear-Free Premium Under Gravel Filter comes with a comprehensive set of items, including 2 Filter Plates, 2 Adjustable Lift Tubes, 2 Straight Airline Tubes, 3 Filter Plate Connecters, and 2 Replaceable Filt-a-Carb Activated Carbon Media Cartridges.
