The AquaTerrium Planting Tank by PENN-PLAX allows you to create a wonderful and exciting ecosystem. The curved, crystal-clear glass tank holds a water volume of 1.85 gallons, giving you the opportunity to experiment with live plants and isopods for a hydroponic setup. The tank can also be used strictly as a decorative planter display, allowing you to add your own nutrients for growing plants hydroponically.

The AquaTerrium Planting Tanks feature an integrated filtration system that's built within the rock landscape. The water pump cycles water to the top, and gravity lets water and plant nutrients cascade down the waterfall. Additionally, the rock landscape consists of several planting pots for either plastic or live plants.

The AquaTerrium Planting Tank comes with a Cascade Plant Growth LED Light for encouraging and stimulating live plant growth. This light contains a total of 12 high-powered LED bulbs (red = 620nm / blue = 450nm), and features a hinged base that gives the fixture 90-degree mobility for easy access into your aquarium.

The suggested fish for this tank include Goldfish, Tuger Barbs, Mollies, Platies, Guppies, Tetras, Danios, and Corydoras Catfish. If tropical fish are added, an aquarium heater must be used to keep the temperature at the desired level. Suggested plants for the tank include Anubias, Chain Sword, Indian Red Sword, Dwarf Baby Tears, Christmas Cactus, Coleus, Cordyline Terminalis, and Arrowhead Plant.
